Binx, you were only four days old when you came to fill my empty nest. Your little eyes weren’t even opened yet. We count ourselves lucky that Melissa was not working at the time and could take care of you during the day while I worked. She fussed so about your demanding cries to be fed, and complained often about cleaning up your messy little self, but she grew to love you so. I know you filled my heart with so much love when you curled around my neck and purred yourself to sleep as I stroked your little body. Then as you grew you no longer needed to curl under my neck but tucked yourself in next to me. We loved that little Manx nub of a tail and those long bunny-like back feet that made you so funny to watch as you grew and played with the other cats. Melissa spoiled you so with potato chips, mountain dew and anything else she was eating. You demanded that she share everything with you. The people that came into your life fell so completely in love with you because you had such an air about yourself that drew people to you. You were truly an exceptional cat and those of us that knew you best knew when you wanted to be loved and when, if messed with, we were going to get the paw. You were taken from us before we could say good bye, but your paws left forever prints on all of our hearts.
